Alternative Education / Gateway High School

Gateway Continuation High School provides students with a way to continue their educational purposes and goals in an alternative setting from the traditional high school system. However, students enrolled in Independent Studies are removed from the A-G requirements and cannot enroll in a 4 year college program directly after high school.Students come to Gateway for various numerous reasons and are recommended during a placement system from Chowchilla Union High School. Gateway provides a standards based, smaller Teacher-Student ratio, individualized program for students to continue toward the goal of successfully earning their high school diploma. Gateway is located on Orange near the corner of 11th Street in Chowchilla, California.
